I took Connor to Cleveland Park near downtown Spartanburg. It is kind of confusing, because there is also a Cleveland Park in Greenville and we travel between both towns regularly. This was actually the first time I had been to this park. It is a nice little park with some walking trails, creeks, a playground with a miniture train going around it, a small lake with an island and a gazebo on the island, plus ducks, geese and large fish in the lake.

It was a beautiful afternoon, sunny with some clouds and a nice breeze. The temperature wasn't too hot. There were lots of flowers blooming and bees buzzing through them. A picture perfect Spring day.

I'm actually quite pleased with the pictures I got. I probably should have used my flash for some extra fill light in a few of the shots, and I could have used a diffuser panel to shade some of the flowers, but I don't have one of those. All-in-all it was a good day. Connor and I both had fun, which is the most important thing.
