I took Connor to the Cowpens National Battlefield. The Battle of Cowpens was one of the turning points of the American Revolutionary War in the southern states. It started a chain of effects that led directly to the British surrender at Yorktown. The battle lasted only an hour and was the only double envelopment of the war.
