The City of Spartanburg held an outdoor event to highlight some of the town's growing cultural community. The event was called "Spartanburg Creative Tastes" and featured local artists, restaurants, and performers. It was held downtown and they closed off a couple of blocks for it.

The festival started in mid-afternoon and was scheduled to go until 9 PM. Weather was pretty nice it was partly cloudy and hot. It looked like some storms were building up in the evening, but nothing developed.

The photographs in this set are a mixture of shots from the festival as well as architectural photographs of some of the downtown's old buildings. Some of the buildings are registered on the National Register of Historic Places.
